Southern Capital Resources (SCR) was formed in Birmingham, Alabama in 1989 by its President, Steve Hines, and is one of the leading mortgage lenders in Central Alabama. In 2005, SCR was acquired by and became a division of ALIANT Bank and now joins the bank’s ALIANT Mortgage group to serve the mortgage lending needs of customers throughout the Southeast.
